Parties

Birthday Parties and other occasions can be celebrated here at the Madison Area YMCA, and are available for members and non-members.  Parties run 1 hour and 45 minutes.  They include 45 minutes of an activity and use of a room for 1 hour (15 minutes of set-up time before your activity) and 45 minutes for refreshments afterward. Swim parties get 1 hour for refreshments.  You supply your own food, decorations, and paper goods, and we’ll supply the tables and chairs for guests.

ARTS & CRAFTS
Let your child get ‘crafty’ during this fun-filled workshop. Using a variety of materials, participants will create an age-appropriate project. Participants should dress accordingly, and smocks will be provided if necessary. Fridays, 4 p.m. Ages: 4 and up – limited to 10. Fee: Member: $215; Non-Member: $265.

DANCE
Crazy Dance Party for both Boys & Girls
Fun crazy songs & dances include body rock, freeze dance, chicken dance, hokey pokey & limbo & more. Hula hoops & parachute are incorporated in this crazy fun packed party. 16 children maximum. Fee: Member: $215; Non- Member: $265.

Princess Party
A little girl’s dream. Princess songs & dancing including ballet, ribbon dances & more are part of this sweet party. 16 children maximum. Fee: Member: $215; Non- Member: $265.

Tea Party
A old fashioned way to celebrate a birthday. Manners & etiquette are taught. Dancing & ribbon dancing after tea. Ages 4 and up. 16 children maximum. Fee: Member: $215; Non- Member: $265.

GYMNASTICS
This party will make your child get up and go! Our staff leads participants through a series of activities in our Gymnastics Center including rings, giant parachute,songs,tumble trak, foam block pit, bounce house, obstacle course and much more. Each child under 3 must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturdays: 1:30pm, 2:30pm, or 3:30pm 
Fridays: 12:30pm or 1:30pm
Ages: Parent/Child, Toddler & Preschool - limited to 12 kids. School-age children - limited to 16 kids.  
Fee: Member: $265; Non-Member: $295. *Note: Reception for this party will be held in the lobby

KARATE
A party with a punch! This party uses Karate Do, a combination of movement, self-protection, and traditional martial arts. Fee: Member: $255; Non-Member: $280.

KIDS CENTRAL
Laugh, run, jump and play in our indoor modular playground. Parents are required to supervise children at all times. Fridays: 4 .p.m., Sundays: 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., or 2:30 p.m. – 20 children.
Ages: 2 and up. Fee: Member: $215; Non-Member: $265.  Each additional child (after 20) will be charged at $8/child.  *Note: Reception for this party may be held in the lobby.

SPORTS & GAMES
You choose the sport, we gear the party for your budding athlete! Soccer, basketball, kickball, and floor hockey are just a few of the offerings available for children ages 5 and up. Personalized instruction given by a sports instructor. Saturdays: noon (fall, winter, spring); Fridays: 4. p.m. (summer). Ages: 5 and up - limited to 16. Fee: Member: $215; Non-Member: $265.

SWIMMING
Splish, splash and celebrate! Have a good time with a pool party that includes balls, swim noodles, and other equipment that enhances water fun. Recommended for children who can stand in 3 feet of water and swim. Participants unable to swim must be accompanied by an adult. Saturdays: 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. Ages: 7 and up - limited to 25. Fee: Member: $215; Non-Member: $265. 

RENT-A-ROOM
Private rooms are available for magicians, story tellers, and other outside entertainment. Room rentals are based on availability, activity, and party size. All outside entertainment must provide certificate of insurance prior to room reservation.
