Little eXtra Kirby is an enrichment program that adds to your child’s Kindergarten readiness. Children enrolled in our Full Day or Half Day Preschool program who will be attending Kindergarten the following Fall are eligible to enroll in this program two days a week.

 

Our program provides a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children, while preparing them for Kindergarten.

 

The Little eXtra Kirby program starts with Circle Time, where teachers and students discuss the letter of the week, as well as words beginning with that sound.

 

During Project time, teacher-directed activities are set up at tables for small groups of children to participate at one time. Projects may include art, cooking, science experiments or other age-appropriate activities.
