Infant Care - Full Day
The F.M. Kirby Children’s Center of the Madison Area YMCA cares for infants 6 weeks to 20 months old. Language and social development are included in our caring, nurturing, safe and challenging program.
Each infant in our program is assigned to a regular teacher who becomes your child’s primary care giver. He or she provides one-on-one interaction, and monitors your child’s social, physical, cognitive and emotional development. In addition to daily verbal communication, your baby’s primary care giver provides you with a tracking sheet that includes information about your child’s day, meals, moods, diapering, activities and milestones.
Infant Care is available 2, 3 or 5 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with an extended care option until 6:45 p.m.
